Wildcard Gems was founded out of a love of jewelry mixed with an even deeper love of the environment. Growing up in northern Michigan gave me a passion for protecting the natural beauty of our planet, since it is, and always will be, my greatest source of joy and inspiration. WCG was born, using my years of experience in the jewelry industry to confidently take the leap into the world of vintage, making a positive impact on our planet in the process. Sustainability has always been a passion of mine, and I knew that no matter what I did- I would do my best to be ethical and fair to our mother earth. Fortunately- that comes easy with our business model, and we promise to always be transparent, honest, and ethical when it comes to our sourcing- which is easy in the world of vintage.

About the Founder, sevasti kirby
Sevasti (Sevi) was born and raised in Michigan & has been a lover of adventure since birth. She has traveled well, worked hard along the way, and has grown an attachment to earth’s little luxuries. She now lives in Chicago in the Logan Square neighborhood, with her fiance who owns and operates a local solar company. She founded WildCard Gems in 2021, a pandemic baby if you will, realizing that life is short and that she needed to be in a creative field in order to truly be happy. She believes that luxury and sustainability can thrive together - and that one does not exclude the other. She believes in full expression, a bit of maximalism, and even more in the balance and duality of being a genuine person. She enjoys being outside more than anything else, and sources most of her creative inspiration from vintage clothing, homes, and jewelry.
